Four second-year Pharmacy students from the Dr. Mariano Que College of Pharmacy (DMQCP) of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) completed the Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy and the Council of Pharmacy Deans of Thailand (AASP-CPDT) Summer School 2026, held on June 17-30, 2026, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Representing DLSMHSI were Lennyshen Leila Morales, Francesca Anne Roldan, Ramiel Yna Leuterio, and Jochelle Anne Aragon, accompanied by Inst. Francesca Marie Manansala.
Beyond academics, the program featured cultural immersion activities, including preparing traditional Thai dishes and visiting historical landmarks such as the Grand Palace to appreciate Thailand’s culture and heritage.
The awarding ceremony marked the successful completion of the international program, highlighting DLSMHSI’s commitment to providing global learning opportunities that equip future Lasallian pharmacists with the knowledge, practical skills, and cultural competence needed to deliver patient-centered care, champion community health, and create a lasting positive impact on the lives of the people they serve. By developing globally competent healthcare professionals who can contribute to healthier communities and promote well-being for all, the initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
