On March 20, 2025, DLSMHSI became an official member of the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP), granting its student-athletes the opportunity to compete in national qualifying tournaments and pursue international sports participation.

Through this affiliation, DLSMHSI gains access to inter-school competitions, providing student-athletes with opportunities to enhance their skills, gain experience, and represent the Institution on a broader stage. This membership reinforces the school’s commitment to both sports development and academic excellence, expanding its presence in collegiate athletics and offering athletes greater exposure to compete at national and international levels.
