The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) awarded De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute a three-year Deregulated status during the Autonomous and Deregulated Awarding Ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on November 24, 2024.
This prestigious recognition highlights DLSMHSI’s commitment to innovative healthcare education and its ability for self-regulation. Mr. Nanjo Berba, Chancellor, and Dr. Reynaldo Cruz, Director of the Center for Educational Effectiveness and Accreditation, accepted the award on behalf of the Institution.
The Deregulated status grants DLSMHSI increased autonomy, enabling the institution to implement flexible and forward-thinking educational strategies. This milestone supports DLSMHSI’s ongoing mission to provide exceptional healthcare education, with the status effective until 2027.
